From November 18 to December 17, 2022, sixty years after the disappearance of Norma Jean Baker (the woman) and the birth of the myth Marilyn Monroe, the photographer in love with words, Gerard Adam, met the writer in love with photography, Daniel Charneux, at the Maison culturelle de Quaregnon. This conjunction arose from Daniel Charneux's gaze on the star in his novel "Norma," and from Gerard Adam's photographic work on some American mythologies, begun half a century ago.

Bouncing from one idea to another, the exhibition aimed to capture some symbols of the USA between images and words, appearance and depth, appearance and disappearance.
